Cerrito
Love Me Forever Today

Love Me Forever Today features 12 tracks from this 2004 release by Cerrito on Checo Records.  Cerrito has many of the same qualities vocally as Rick Trevino and newcomer John Arthur Martinez in the Spanish influenced genre of music.  Spanish influenced country music seems to be becoming more and more popular these days, and the addition of Cerrito is no exception.  Although it is not generally what we hear on country radio right now, Cerrito does have some quality tracks including the title track, "Love Me Forever Today," and the duet with Janie Fricke, "Stranger."  It would be
great to hear more music like this on the radio.  Overall, a respectable album from the first song on the album ("Love Me Forever Today,") to the closing bonus track, "Say That You Love Me (Latin Version)." - Janelle Landauer

Album Picks:
"Love Me Forever Today," "I Can't Help It (If I'm Still In Love With You)," and "Stranger  with Janie Fricke."
