M-T-M #14 Sampler
This is the first time I've decided to add a review for an independent compilation sampler. Usually on most compilations, there are a couple standouts, but unfortunately a "couple" is a pretty high number. M-T-M #14 has the couple true tracks, but there are also a lot of tracks that are close in rank.
In the past, I have mentioned J.C. Andersen, Johnny Bulford, and Jon Michaels. All three of those artists are actually featured on this sampler. Besides those great singer/songwriters, the other highly noticeable single is by Dave Brooks. Brooks' single
"Teach Me How To Love Again" vocally resembles material released by country super group, Diamond Rio, but Brook's has enough unique traits that would push him forward in the music industry. "I Don't Think You're Pretty" by Billy Yates is such a tear jerker. Billy Yates could easily have a hit with this one.
Aimee Pettersen's song "I Want To Fall" is the best on this sampler from the ladies. Pettersen is a strong Canadian vocalist who really could go far with a high production release. Mark Trail is great at what he does in the music industry - whether writing great singles or putting together samplers that are worthy of recognition.
