NASHVILLE, TN  July 28, 2005  Country star Brad Paisley is wasting no time bringing his new music to the fans as he headlines the "Gain presents CMT ON TOUR: BRAD PAISLEY TIME WELL WASTED 2005 featuring Sara Evans and special guest Sugarland sponsored by Comfort Inn." The tour will visit more than 30 markets nationwide and will launch on Sept. 23 at Portland, Oregon's Rose Garden. CMT ON TOUR: BRAD PAISLEY TIME WELL WASTED 2005 will include performances in major cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.   The tour coincides with the August 16 release of Paisley's latest album, Time Well Wasted.

Paisley, known as a stellar guitarist, songwriter and performer, has added animator to his resume and is world premiering an original animated short announcing the tour on CMT.com and www.bradpaisley.com. Currently available to view on the websites, the three minute piece, created by Paisley, will feature animated characters of Paisley, Sara Evans and Sugarland.

Since his debut in 1999, five-time CMA award-winning star Brad Paisley has established himself as one of country's finest entertainers. By the close of 2004, Paisley had accomplished three career milestones:  1) Mud On The Tires, became Double-Platinum certified by the RIAA for over two million units shipped; 2) Paisley was ranked among Billboard's 2004 Top 10 best-sellers with his Mud On The Tires disc; and, 3) the 32-year-old performer celebrated over 6 million career units sold of his three-album catalog. This multiple Grammy, ACM and CMA nominated artist's outstanding performance style and stellar songwriting have also earned him the proud distinction of being the Grand Ole Opry's youngest cast member.  His highly successful 2005 Mud & Suds tour played to sold-out crowds at each stop and he sold over 400,000 tickets in the first half of the year.  Paisley's newest release is due on August 16  TIME WELL WASTED and includes his current hit single "Alcohol."

RCA Nashville beauty Sara Evans adds a stunning vibrance to the country music landscape.  As country radio's most-played female artist of 2004, Sara also charted the year's top airplay winner by a female artist with her multi-week No. 1 smash, "Suds in the Bucket."  Her current single, "A Real Fine Place to Start," is already a Top 10 preview of the passionate energy to come from her upcoming album, Real Fine Place.  With the massive, Double-Platinum success of her Born to Fly disc setting the stage for 2003's Platinum-certified Restless, Sara notched hits with "Perfect" (which she co-wrote), as well as "Suds in the Bucket," with the video for each becoming a #1 favorite at CMT.  Over the course of four albums, three No. 1 singles - including "Born to Fly" and "No Place That Far" - six Top Ten hits, and nearly four million units sold, the recent ACM nominee for Top Female Vocalist and Album of the Year has continued to craft songs that have established her as one of the genre's most enjoyable stylists.

Atlanta-based trio Sugarland is relishing in sweet success with the Platinum certification of their debut album, Twice The Speed Of Life. All 11 tracks on the record were written by the trio of singer/songwriters, Jennifer Nettles, Kristen Hall and Kristian Bush. Their album has been in the Top 5 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart for 9 consecutive weeks and in the Top 10 for 16 consecutive weeks. Sugarland was introduced to the country music world only one year ago. In that short amount of time their first two singles, "Baby Girl" and "Something More," both reached No. 2 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. In addition, "Baby Girl" is the highest-charting debut single by a country group in 14 years and the longest-running single in the history of the monitored chart era. Currently, the video for "Something More" is No. 1 on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown.  Sugarland's high-energy live show is where they truly shine as one of country music's most entertaining acts. One of Sugarland's first LIVE national television performances was on the CMT Music Awards Pre-Party in April. Now they are coming to a city near you.
