- Tracy Lawrence - "Paint Me A Birmingham"
(Gary Duffy and Buck Moore)

He was sittin' at his brush an' pad,
Paintin' wings as they danced across the sand.
With every stroke, he brought to life,
The deep blue of the ocean against a mornin' sky.
I asked him if he only painted ocean scenes.
He said: "For twenty dollars, I'll paint you anything."

Could you paint me a Birmingham?
Make it look just the way I planned:
A little house on the edge of town,
Porch goin' all the way around.
Put her there in a front yard swing,
Cotton dress, make it in early spring.
For a while, she'll be mine again.
If you could paint me a Birmingham.

He looked at me with knowing eyes,
An' took a canvas from a bag there by his side.
Picked up a brush an' said to me:
"Son, just where in this picture would you like to be?"
Well, I said if there's any way you can,
Could you paint me back into her arms again?

Could you paint me a Birmingham?
Make it look just the way I planned:
A little house on the edge of town,
Porch goin' all the way around.
Put her there in a front yard swing,
Cotton dress, make it in early spring.
For a while, she'll be mine again.
If you could paint me a Birmingham.

Paint me a Birmingham?
Make it look just the way I planned:
A little house on the edge of town,
Porch goin' all the way around.
Put her there in a front yard swing,
Cotton dress, make it in early spring.
For a while, she'll be mine again.
If you could paint me a Birmingham.

Oh, paint me a Birmingham.

- Tracy Lawrence- "It's All How You Look At It"
(Stephany Delray and Melissa Ann Pierce)

Little boy on a big jet plane,
Taking off in the pouring rain.
They're bouncin' 'round like a basketball.
He says: "Mama, what if we fall?"

She looks in those big scared eyes,
"Son, think of it like a circus ride."
Next thing you know, he's laughing out loud,
Sayin': "Do it again," as the wheels touch down.

I guess it's all how you look at it.
You might see more than the side that you're seein'.
Turn it upside down an' shake it up a bit.
It could be a good thing:
It's all how you look at it, yeah.

Businessman playing air guitar:
He always dreamed he'd be a superstar.
Quits his job and starts singin' at night.
Is he giving up his living or taking back his life?

I guess it's all how you look at it.
You might see more than the side that you're seein'.
Turn it upside down an' shake it up a bit.
It could be a good thing:
It's all how you look at it.

You've got your opinions an' I've got mine.
Can we agree to agree, at least some of the time?
A glass half empty is a glass half full,
An' that's what makes life beautiful.

I guess it's all how you look at it.
You might see more than the side that you're seein'.
Turn it upside down an' shake it up a bit.
It could be a good thing:
It's all how you look at it.

(All how you look at it.)
You might see more than the side that you're seein'.
Turn it upside down an' shake it up a bit.
It could be a good thing:
It's all how you look at it, yeah.

- Tracy Lawrence - "Sawdust On Her Halo"

She likes kickin' up, a little sawdust on her halo.
Yeah, she'll whirl and twirl and twist an' turn while the jukebox twangs an' moans.
When she paints on them tight blue jeans, it brings out the devil in me.
She likes kickin' up a little sawdust on her halo.

You can find her in the choir loft every Sunday,
Winkin' at me with two sore feet inside her high heel shoes.
Every Saturday night, she'll dance till closin' time,
An' still be there in the morning for Sunday School.

Oh pick it up, Darlin'.

Kickin' up a little sawdust on her halo.
