Dierks Bentley
Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley is one of the best CD's I have heard in a long time. It features more traditional music, but it still has the appeal to the 'young country' fans. The song "Train Traveling" features the Del McCoury Band, so it has a bluegrass tune to it. Dierks sings the upbeat songs so well, but his sad songs are amazing too. The song "My Last Name", written by Dierks, is a great story song. All about getting teased because of his last name and still being proud of it, and then one day offering it to a woman through marriage. The song "I Bought The Shoes" is quite humorous, the chorus goes, " I bought her fancy clothes, for all occasions and that new car so she could go just any old where she
pleased, I bought the golden band she wore, on the hand that closed the door, and I bought the shoes that just walked out on me". My personal favorite song is "How Am I Doin'?" this song is very upbeat, and very fun. My favorite line from the song is "Now you say you're sorry well honey I agree". The next single "My Last Name" will be going out for adds on October 20th. Bentley debuted at #4 on the country albums chart.  The album is also enhanced, which means if you put the CD in your computer, you can watch the video for "What Was I Thinkin'?" If that doesn't convince you to buy it, I'm not sure what would! You can pick up this CD anywhere. Check out www.dierks.com or www.capitolnashville.com for more information on Dierks Bentley.
